WEST JORDAN, Utah-Onyx Griffin netted 18 points and 7 rebounds and the Cedar Valley Aviators edged West Jordan 50-46 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Ian McIntyre led the Jaguars in the loss with 12 points.
LAYTON, Utah-Gabe Sularski and Omar Mowafak posted 21 points apiece and the Layton Christian Eagles routed Orem 87-56 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Troy Kaufusi led the Tigers in the loss with a game-high 26 points.
PAYSON, Utah-Joseph Wolfe led the way with 20 points and the Payson Lions edged Juab 69-66 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Maddix Stowell led the Wasps with 17 points in the loss.
