PROVO, Utah-Dean Rueckert’s 27 points led the way and the Timpview Thunderbirds pounded Juan Diego 80-43 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Deng Deng’s 22 points led the Soaring Eagle in the loss.
PLEASANT GROVE, Utah-Jaxon Brown netted 18 points and the Pleasant Grove Vikings edged Davis 58-56 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Cameron Brower led the Darts in the loss with 17 points.
SALEM, Utah-Joel Garnder posted 21 points and the Skyridge Falcons pounded Salem Hills 71-47 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Jake Polson and Elijah Gasser netted 9 points apiece in the loss for the Skyhawks.
PAROWAN, Utah-Jalen Brewer recorded 18 points and the American Leadership Eagles smacked Parowan 60-49 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Tate Stubbs led the Rams in defeat with 13 points.

KAYSVILLE, Utah-Sutton Villa led the way with 16 points and the Pleasant Grove Vikings stymied Davis 46-39 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Kate Willard led the Darts in the loss with 13 points.
SALT LAKE CITY-Lyvia Candilora netted 15 points and the Judge Memorial Bulldogs downed Salem Hills 53-48 Friday in non-region girls basketball play. Alexa Vance netted 23 points in the loss for the Skyhawks.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Taizley Ball posted 22 points and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles clobbered Orem 62-18 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Wendy Woll led the Tigers in defeat with 7 points.
