LEHI, Utah-Jax Clark posted 21 points and the American Fork Cavemen downed Lehi 68-56 in Region 3 boys basketball play Friday. Ashton Shewell’s 28 points led the Pioneers in the loss.
HIGHLAND, Utah-Crew Fotheringham and Logan Brimhall netted 14 points apiece and the Lone Peak Knights overpowered Corner Canyon 54-45 Friday in Region 3 boys basketball play. Tyler Mortensen’s 11 points led the Chargers in defeat.
Region 7
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Carsen Behnke’s 23 points led the way and the Wasatch Wasps pounded Spanish Fork 92-53 in Region 7 boys basketball play Friday at La Hacienda. Gage Christensen led the Dons in the loss with 13 points.
OREM, Utah-William Openshaw posted 21 points and the Timpview Thunderbirds doubled up Orem 72-36 in Region 7 boys basketball play Friday in our KIXR/talkofutahcounty.com Game of the Week. Troy Kaufusi’s 19 points led the Tigers in the loss.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Solomon Krommenhoek’s 16 points led the way and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles got past Payson 64-59 Friday in Region 7 boys basketball play. Blake Jenson and Scott Bylund had 17 points apiece in defeat for the Lions.
Region 8
BLUFFDALE, Utah-Tanner Vlaadingerbroek led the way with 22 points and the Mountain View Bruins hammered Summit Academy 90-57 Friday in Region 8 boys basketball play. Dom Ruiz led the Bears in the loss with 16 points.
OREM, Utah-Jaxen McCuistion netted 25 points and the Timpanogos Timberwolves smoked Uintah 65-50 in Region 8 boys basketball play Friday. Adam Wallis led the Utes in defeat with 15 points.
Region 12
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-James Matsen and Kade Andersen posted 20 points apiece and the American Heritage Patriots drilled Ben Lomond 95-59 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Cole Parkinson’s 18 points led the Scots in the loss.
Region 16
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Smith Sorensen recorded 28 points and the Merit Knights got past Rockwell 60-52 Friday in Region 16 boys basketball play. Ethan Kearl’s game-high 32 points led the Marshals in the loss.
Region 17
DRAPER, Utah-Max Jacobsen netted 27 points and the Draper APA Eagles routed Maeser Prep 77-47 in Region 17 boys basketball play Friday. Graham Harmor’s 17 points led the Lions in defeat.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Jakobe Ross stepped up with 16 points and the ALA Eagles gashed Rowland Hall 71-50 Friday in Region 17 boys basketball play. Jrue Miller led the Winged Lions in the loss with 19 points.

LEHI, Utah-Jalise Chatman stepped up with 17 points and the American Fork Cavemen waxed Lehi 55-50 Friday in Region 3 girls basketball play. Madi Andrews’ 16 points led the Pioneers in the loss.

PAYSON, Utah-Emmy Hales led the way with 30 points and the Payson Lions pummeled Spanish Fork 66-47 in Region 7 girls basketball play Friday. Alexis Branch led the Dons in the loss with 22 points.
Region 8
OREM, Utah-MaKayla Boyer netted 21 points and the Timpanogos Timberwolves got past Uintah 64-54 Friday in Region 8 girls basketball play. Kenadie Maugham led the Utes in defeat with 28 points.
