6A State Championship Game @ The Huntsman Center (UofU)

SALT LAKE CITY-Brody Thompson posted 24 points and 8 rebounds and the No. 1 Westlake Thunder won their first state championship in boys basketball in school history with a 71-55 win over No. 3 Bingham Friday at The Huntsman Center. Parker Snedaker led the Miners in defeat with 15 points.

5A State Championship Game @ The Huntsman Center (UofU)

SALT LAKE CITY-Gavin Lowe’s 16 points and 6 rebounds led the way and the No. 2 Olympus Titans bested No. 8 Bountiful 53-46 Friday in the 5A state championship game at The Huntsman Center. Lincoln Smith led the RedHawks in defeat with 14 points. This was the Titans’ sixth all-time state title in boys basketball. Olympus has state boys basketball championships in 2016, 2018, 2022, 2024, 2025, 2026.

Girls Basketball

6A State Championship Game @ The Huntsman Center (UofU)

SALT LAKE CITY-Stacia Peoples netted 14 points and the No. 6 Bingham Miners downed No. 5 Lone Peak 49-33 Friday to win the 6A state girls basketball championship at The Huntsman Center. Peyton Warner’s 16 points led the Knights in the loss. The Miners now have seven state championships in girls basketball. Bingham has state championships in girls basketball in 1990, 1994, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2020, 2026.

5A State Championship Game @ The Huntsman Center (UofU)

SALT LAKE CITY-Janiece Sikander had 21 points and 5 rebounds and the No. 1 Pleasant Grove Vikings won their first state championship in girls basketball in school history with a 45-30 win over No. 3 West Friday at the 5A state championship game at The Huntsman Center. Kylee Falatea posted 14 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Panthers.
