Tyson Horne posted four strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aviators. Ryland Drollinger and Tanner Madsen drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Phoenix.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Pratt Morley and Sammy Dart drove in two runs apiece and the Spanish Fork Dons waxed Skyline 8-3 in non-region baseball play Wednesday. Swae Nielson’s five strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Dons.
PROVO, Utah-Will Gulbrandsen and Gehrig Orchard drove in a run apiece and the Provo Bulldogs doubled up Timpview 2-1 Wednesday in non-region baseball play. Gulbrandson’s seven strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work earned the win on the mound for Provo. Will Cannon homered in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
PAYSON, Utah-Trevin Madsen drove in two runs and the Payson Lions overpowered Juan Diego 15-10 in non-region baseball play Wednesday. Anthony Bonacci drove in three runs in the loss for the Soaring Eagle.

MAGNA, Utah-Shandiin Fonua homered and the Cyprus Pirates edged Timpanogos 3-2 in non-region softball play Wednesday. Abby Hurtado netted five strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Pirates. Kaleah Sao homered in the loss for the Timberwolves.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Emmri Chuchran, Claire DuBois, Lynlee Sperry, Audrey Sherman, Addison Condor and Devi Tu’ivai each drove in a run and the Westlake Thunder downed Farmington 7-3 Wednesday in non-region softball play. Sophia Strong drove in two runs in the loss for the Phoenix.
OREM, Utah-Kalia Sjoberg, Addi Crandall and Mary Finlayson drove in two runs apiece and the Springville Red Devils edged Orem 7-6 in non-region softball play Wednesday. Allyx Haveron earned the win in the circle for Springville. Camber Hancock drove in three runs in the loss for the Tigers.
PROVO, Utah-Sophie Stoddard drove in three runs and the Mountain View Bruins routed Timpview 15-3 Wednesday in non-region softball play. Camille Stoddard netted eight strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bruins. Halia Aumua drove in two runs in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
