ST. GEORGE, Utah-Boston Walkenhorst homered and the Lone Peak Knights blanked the Centennial (Idaho) Patriots 5-0 Thursday at the Pine View Tournament. Gradly Slesk netted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Knights.
Mustang Classic @ Crimson Cliffs High School (Washington City)
WASHINGTON CITY, Utah-Mitch Walker homered and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles doubled up Crimson Cliffs 4-2 Thursday at the Mustang Classic at Crimson Cliffs High School. Kavyn Carter’s nine strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Sam Chappell and Cutter Christensen drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Mustangs.

OREM, Utah-Deacon Telford and Logan Olsen drove in three runs apiece and the Mountain View Bruins blanked Roy 13-0 in non-region baseball play Thursday.
OREM, Utah-Boston Cook drove in two runs and Timpanogos edged Fremont 4-3 Thursday in non-region baseball play. Kasen Pearson homered in the loss for the Silverwolves.
MORGAN, Utah-Karson Black and Tyson Talbot drove in two runs apiece and the Morgan Trojans blanked Payson 6-0 in non-region baseball play Thursday. Easton Venz netted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Trojans.

RIVERTON, Utah-Londyn Rentmeister and Maggie Hamblin each homered and the Riverton Silverwolves smoked Cedar Valley 15-5 Thursday in Region 2 softball play. Lindsey Strieby earned the win in the circle for Riverton, pitching four innings and surrendering nine hits. Takuilau Wolfgramm homered in the loss for the Aviators.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Kyla Donegan homered and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles edged Payson 7-6 in Region 7 softball play Thursday. Gracie Jensen’s four strikeouts in seven innings earned the win in the circle for Maple Mountain. Anna Marvin homered in the loss for the Lions.
PROVO, Utah-The Wasatch Wasps pounded Timpview 15-1 Thursday in Region 7 softball play. Anuhea Lauano drove in a run in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

FILLMORE, Utah-Emily Stephenson drove in four runs and the Millard Eagles pounded Utah Military Camp Williams 19-0 in Region 15 softball play Thursday. Macie Wade’s seven strikeouts in three innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Eagles.
SALINA, Utah-Peyton Bailey homered and the North Sevier Wolves decimated American Leadership 27-0 Thursday in Region 15 softball play. Tesslee Quarnberg netted five strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wolves.

OGDEN, Utah-Denzel Sono-Koree and Tyler Reedy each scored twice and the Maeser Prep Lions blanked St. Joseph 5-0 Thursday in 2A North boys soccer play. Landon Rode earned the shutout in the net for the Lions in victory, posting a pair of saves.

OREM, Utah-Lewis Peterson, Evan Haderlie and Uli Soria each scored twice and the Timpanogos Timberwolves routed Manti 7-1 Thursday in non-region boys soccer play. Tyler Steinfeldt scored in defeat for the Templars.

LEHI, Utah-Ashton Shewell’s 18 kills led the way and the Lehi Pioneers blanked Layton 3-0 in non-region boys volleyball play Thursday. The Pioneers overpowered the Lancers 25-13, 25-15, 25-20 to prevail in straight sets.
