WASHINGTON CITY, Utah-Ty Marvin homered and the Payson Lions blanked Tooele 10-0 Friday at the Red, White and Blue Tournament at Crimson Cliffs High School. Boston Roseman posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Lions.
WASHINGTON CITY, Utah-Boston Roseman, Ty Marvin, Trevin Madsen and Yoshi Schaugaard drove in a run apiece and the Payson Lions overpowered Manti 6-4 Friday at the Red, White and Blue Tournament. Zach Blackham homered in the loss for the Templars.

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz.-Zach Bye drove in four runs and the Skyridge Falcons outlasted Mount St. Mary (Okla.) 13-12 Friday at Casteel High School. Rylan Kuklinski drove in three runs in defeat for the Rockets.

HERRIMAN, Utah-Dax Davis and Brody Garrard homered and the Mountain Ridge Sentinels hammered Westlake 10-0 in Region 2 baseball play Friday.
2A North
SPANISH FORK, Utah-JJ Young drove in three runs and American Leadership soared past Duchesne 9-3 Friday in the 2A North battle of the Eagles. Boston Fenn’s five strikeouts in four innings of work earned the win on the mound for American Leadership. Nashden Goodliffe and Wyatt Christensen had an RBI apiece in defeat for the Duchesne Eagles.

LOGAN, Utah-Beckham Woodward homered and the Timpview Thunderbirds blasted Logan 10-3 in non-region baseball play Friday. Riley Anderson’s two strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work earned the win on the mound for Timpview. Zac Stuart and Tyler Garren drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Grizzlies.

LAS VEGAS-Liv Davies drove in a run and Lehi blanked Centennial (Nev.) 2-0 at the Bishop Gorman Tournament Friday. Abbi Haroun’s seven strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Pioneers.
LAS VEGAS-Brinlee Skidmore and Piper Emery drove in a run apiece and the Lehi Pioneers blanked the Mission Viejo (Calif.) Diablos 3-0 Friday at the Bishop Gorman Tournament. Abbi Haroun’s five strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Pioneers.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Mary Finlayson homered and the Springville Red Devils got past Snow Canyon 6-5 Friday at the Snow Canyon Tournament. Allyx Haveron posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Red Devils. Alli Beckstrom drove in two runs in the loss for the Warriors.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Morgan Fairbourne and Allyx Haveron each drove in a run and the Springville Red Devils doubled up Cedar 4-2 at the Snow Canyon Tournament Friday. Haveron’s three strikeouts in four innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Red Devils. Kinzie Hawkins and Kyla Johnson each drove in a run in the loss for the Lady Reds.

OREM, Utah-Lia Higginson homered and the Spanish Fork Dons blanked Mountain View 17-0 in non-region softball play Friday. Anaca Olsen posted 11 strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dons.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Tava’esina Albert homered and the Provo Bulldogs pounded American Leadership 19-0 Friday in non-region softball play. Ella Knudsen posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bulldogs.
