ST. GEORGE, Utah-Brayden Leavitt, Cameron Gazda, Dylan Foster and Mark Raborn each drove in a run and the Shadow Ridge (Nev.) Mustangs edged American Fork 7-6 Thursday at the Red Rock Classic at Bruce Hurst Field. Cruz Adams homered in defeat for the Cavemen.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Triston Munson and Carson Hunt each drove in a run and the Dixie Flyers doubled up Pleasant Grove 2-1 at the red Rock Classic Thursday. Jonny McGurie’s 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Flyers. Damon Banks drove in a run in the loss for the Vikings.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Crew Scheel, McCoy Johnson and Kaden Goodsell each homered and the Alta Hawks got past Westlake 10-7 in non-region baseball play Thursday. Teegan Adams drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Thunder.
SANDY, Utah-Easton Wartman drove in a pair of runs and the Jordan Beetdiggers edged Salem Hills 4-3 Thursday in non-region baseball play. Guss Johnson homered in the loss for the Skyhawks.

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Mackenzie Turner, Tatum Ewing and Haylee Snyder drove in two runs apiece and the Bingham Miners edged Cedar Valley 11-10 in Region 2 softball play Thursday. Lily Gritton posted four strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Miners. Mariah Hights drove in two runs in the loss for the Aviators.

HIGHLAND, Utah-Ruby Nelson drove in four runs and the Lone Peak Knights blanked Corner Canyon 15-0 Thursday in Region 3 softball play. Clara Gourley posted five strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Knights.
LEHI, Utah-Libby Baxter homered and the Lehi Pioneers drilled Skyridge 14-6 in Region 3 softball play Thursday in this crosstown rivalry. Abbi Harroun’s eight strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Pioneers. Callie Baker, Kaylie Power, Isabella Plewe and Lacey Southwick each drove in a run for the Falcons in defeat.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Paisley Ross and Sydney Worthen each homered and the Spanish Fork Dons blanked Payson 10-0 in Region 7 softball play Thursday. Paizley Boman netted 14 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dons.
HEBER CITY, Utah-McClain Carter homered and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles waxed Wasatch 5-1 in Region 7 softball play Thursday. Gracie Jensen’s four strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win in the circle for Maple Mountain. Sydnee McPhie drove in a run in the loss for the Wasps.
PROVO, Utah-Maya Pawelek homered and the Pleasant Grove Vikings smoked Timpview 15-2 Thursday in Region 7 softball play. Memphis Carr and Natalie Burgin drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Emmery Wilson and Leila Stevenson drove in three runs apiece and the Salem Hills Skyhawks doubled up Springville 8-4 in Region 7 softball play Thursday. Jaz Ciliezar homered in the loss for the Red Devils.

OREM, Utah-Avery Louise Allen drove in five runs and the Orem Tigers decimated Provo 24-0 in Region 8 softball play Thursday. Alli Jeppson’s seven strikeouts in three innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Tigers.
OREM, Utah-Sophie Stoddard drove in three runs and the Mountain View Bruins smacked Timpanogos 12-2 Thursday in Region 8 softball play in this crosstown rivalry. Camille Stoddard posted four strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bruins. Kaleah Sao and Liv Lott each drove in a run in the loss for the Timberwolves.
