DRAPER, Utah-Cache Poulson homered and the American Fork Cavemen downed Corner Canyon 5-3 Tuesday in Region 3 baseball play. Talon Willardson’s 10 strikeouts in six innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Cavemen. Tanner MacKay drove in two runs in defeat for the Chargers.
HIGHLAND, Utah-Hazen Elton and Cole Ybarra each homered and the Lehi Pioneers pounded Lone Peak 13-0 in Region 3 baseball play Tuesday. Sawyer Call netted two strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Pioneers.

SALEM, Utah-Pratt Morley drove in three runs and the Spanish Fork Dons routed Salem Hills 12-0 in Region 7 baseball play Tuesday. Matai Johnson’s eight strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Dons.
PAYSON, Utah-Eddie Bluth, Braxton Faller, Austin Brown and Otis Sweat drove in two runs apiece and the Wasatch Wasps routed Payson 14-0 in Region 7 baseball play Tuesday. Max Livingston netted three strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps.
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Bridger Frischknecht drove in three runs and the Springville Red Devils surged past Timpview 13-8 Tuesday in Region 7 baseball play. Kasen Torres posted seven strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Red Devils. Ty Wester and Beckham Woodward homered in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

COALVILLE, Utah-Hunter Courtney drove in three runs and the American Leadership Eagles routed North Summit 17-3 Tuesday in Region 15 baseball play. Justus Brost recorded 15 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Eagles.

VERNAL, Utah-Becca Williams homered and the Uintah Utes blanked Provo 13-0 Tuesday in the first game of a Region 8 softball doubleheader. Abbie Davis netted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Utes.
VERNAL, Utah-Leena Sharp and Taya Miller drove in three runs apiece and the Uintah Utes pounded Provo 22-2 to complete a Region 8 softball doubleheader sweep of the Bulldogs Tuesday. Lynlie Hall netted seven strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bulldogs. Tava’esina Albert and Josie Castellanos drove in a run apiece in the loss for Provo.

AMERICAN FORK, Utah-Matthew Brady and Josue Kajinga scored a goal apiece and the No. 4 American Heritage Patriots blanked No. 13 Intermountain Christian 2-0 Tuesday in the second round of the 2A state playoffs. The Patriots next host No. 5 Millard Friday at 4:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
LINDON, Utah-Jack Pomeroy netted a hat trick and the No. 1 Maeser Prep Lions routed No. 17 Wasatch Academy 7-0 in the second round of the 2A state playoffs Tuesday. The Lions next host No. 8 Gunnison Valley Friday in the state quarterfinals at 4:00 pm. Mahonri Alcazar recorded the shutout in the net in victory for the Lions.
