4A Bracket Play @ Kearns High School
KEARNS, Utah-Bridger Larsen and Trey Vaughn each homered twice and the No. 1 Snow Canyon Warriors routed No. 2 Desert Hills 15-5 to win the 4A state championship Saturday at Gates Field. Talan Hansen also went yard in the win for Snow Canyon. Cael Esplin netted three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Warriors. Roah Wall drove in two runs in the loss for the Thunder. This was Snow Canyon’s seventh all-time state title in baseball. Snow Canyon has championships in baseball in 2002, 2007, 2012, 2013, 2021, 2024 and 2026.
KEARNS, Utah-Bridger Larsen homered and the No. 1 Snow Canyon Warriors pummeled No. 2 Desert Hills 18-4 Saturday to force a third game in the 4A championship bracket series at Gates Field. Zach Beck posted a strikeout in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Warriors. Keithen Dove homered in the loss for the Thunder. This forces a de facto 4A state championship game Saturday at 6:30 pm at Kearns High School.

4A State Quarterfinals
SANDY, Utah-The No. 2 Waterford Ravens overpowered the No. 7 Ridgeline Riverhawks 12-5 Saturday in the 4A state quarterfinals. Jeff Woodland scored four goals in the loss for the Riverhawks. The Ravens next face No. 3 Bear River Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the state semifinals at Westminster University of Salt Lake City.
GARLAND, Utah-Preston Wilkinson scored four goals and the No. 3 Bear River Bears bested No. 6 Timpanogos 14-10 in the 4A state quarterfinals Saturday.
SMITHFIELD, Utah-The No. 4 Green Canyon Wolves defeated No. 5 Sky View 10-9 Saturday in the 4A state quarterfinals. Nixon Bohm scored three goals in the loss for the Bobcats.
DRAPER, Utah-The No. 1 Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle downed No. 8 Mountain Crest 12-2 in the 4A state quarterfinals Saturday. Camden Atkinson and Davis Cooper scored in the loss for the Mustangs.

RIVERTON, Utah-Paisley Young scored five goals and the No. 2 Riverton Silverwolves smacked No. 7 Davis 14-1 Saturday in the 6A state quarterfinals.
HERRIMAN, Utah-Lucy Rigby scored four goals and the No. 3 Mountain Ridge Sentinels bested No. 6 Syracuse 17-6 to advance to the 6A state girls lacrosse semifinals Saturday.

Softball
4A Championship Bracket at @BYU
PROVO, Utah-Bailey Lee, Lulu West, Lily Ringel and Riley Greene drove in a run apiece and the No. 1 Desert Hills Thunder won their first state title in softball in school history by doubling up Bear River 4-2 in the 4A softball championship bracket at Gail Miller Field on the campus of Brigham Young University. Brielle Gardiner drove in two runs in the loss for the Bears.
