COALVILLE, Utah-Jalen Brewer posted 23 points and the ALA Eagles soared past North Summit 63-35 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Tayton Pace led the way with 18 points and 6 rebounds in defeat for the Braves.

HYRUM, Utah-Taizley Ball netted 29 points and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles smacked Maple Mountain 72-45 in non-region girls basketball play Wednesday. Emersyn Brown’s 21 points led the Mustangs in defeat.
OREM, Utah-Elizabeth Adams led the way with 20 points and the Timpanogos Timberwolves clobbered Herriman 64-22 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball play. Addison Porter and Grace Cannon had 6 points apiece in the loss for the Mustangs.
