SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Avery Thompson led the way with 15 points and the Westlake Thunder stonewalled Copper Hills 61-47 in Region 2 girls basketball play Thursday. Abby Bush’s game-high 18 points led the Grizzlies in defeat.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Daisy Thayne and Ellie Larson posted 20 points apiece and the Cedar Valley Aviators soared past Herriman 63-37 Thursday in Region 2 girls basketball play. Addison Porter and Grace Cannon netted 13 points apiece for the Mustangs in the loss.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Emmy Hales netted 15 points apiece and the Payson Lions drilled Spanish Fork 42-24 in Region 7 girls basketball play Thursday at La Hacienda. Addison Gwilliam led the Dons in defeat with 7 points.

BLUFFDALE, Utah-Valaria Martinez recorded 15 points and the Provo Bulldogs decimated Summit Academy 83-11 Thursday in Region 8 girls basketball play.

SALT LAKE CITY-Preslee Orton posted 11 points and the ALA Eagles edged Rowland Hall 39-37 in Region 17 girls basketball play Thursday. Mina Bailey led the Winged Lions in defeat with 23 points.
