SPANISH FORK, Utah-Troy Kaufusi and Aisea Galeai’i netted 14 points apiece and the Orem Tigers clobbered Spanish Fork 71-41 in Region 7 boys basketball play Tuesday at La Hacienda. Kade Leatherwood’s game-high 20 points led the Dons in the loss.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Preston White stepped up with 17 points and the Pleasant Grove Vikings hammered Maple Mountain 77-55 in Region 7 boys basketball play Tuesday. Nash Jackson led the Golden Eagles in defeat with 12 points.
PAYSON, Utah-Jake Polson posted 16 points and the Salem Hills Skyhawks downed Payson 64-59 Tuesday in Region 7 boys basketball play. Austin Staheli led the Lions in the loss with 21 points.
Region 8
OREM, Utah-Jackson Sperry and Joshua Hair netted 15 points apiece and the Mountain View Bruins pounded Summit Academy 84-46 in Region 8 boys basketball play Tuesday. Preston Kelly led the Bears in the loss with 12 points.

LAYTON, Utah-Roman Avdejev’s 14 points led the way and the Layton Christian Eagles edged Timpview 57-56 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday. Dean Rueckert led the Thunderbirds in the loss with 25 points.
PLEASANT VIEW, Utah-Ryder Gentry netted 19 points and the Skyridge Falcons downed Weber 64-53 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball play. Derik Bowden posted 19 points in the loss for the Warriors.
LAYTON, Utah-Jax Clark stepped up with 28 points and the American Fork Cavemen overpowered Layton 70-58 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday. Karter Miller led the Lancers in defeat with 25 points.
FARMINGTON, Utah-Nate Rosenlof posted 27 points and the Lehi Pioneers downed Farmington 58-50 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball play. Malaki Tobler led the Phoenix with 18 points in the loss.
SYRACUSE, Utah-The Lone Peak Knights overpowered Syracuse 65-47 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday. Colton Hoenigman’s 19 points and 5 rebounds led the Titans in defeat.
OGDEN, Utah-Graham Harmor netted 34 points and the Maeser Prep Lions disparaged Saint Joseph 74-48 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball play. Ben Betancourt led the Jayhawks in the loss with 14 points.

PROVO, Utah-Stella Madsen posted 12 points and the Timpview Thunderbirds waxed Spanish Fork 45-33 in region 7 girls basketball play Tuesday. Alexis Branch led the Dons in the loss with 13 points.
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Filifaiesea Liav’a posted 19 points and the Wasatch Wasps gashed Springville 48-35 in Region 7 girls basketball play Tuesday. Hattie Templeman led the Red Devils in defeat with 13 points.

SALT LAKE CITY-Sedona Vivola netted 20 points and Intermountain Christian bested Maeser Prep 43-35 Tuesday in the Region 17 girls basketball battle of the Lions. Lillian Nolan led the Maeser Prep Lions in the loss with 10 points.
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-Brinley Hall led the way with 21 points and the American Heritage Patriots clobbered Waterford 62-20 in Region 17 girls basketball play Tuesday. Kenley Carter led the Ravens with 7 points in defeat.
