PLEASANT GROVE, Utah-Brennan Blackett netted 17 points and the Pleasant Grove Vikings edged Orem 81-80 Tuesday in Region 7 boys basketball play. Troy Kaufusi led the Tigers in the loss with 28 points.

PROVO, Utah-Makai Allen netted 26 points and the Provo Bulldogs routed Summit Academy 59-35 in Region 8 boys basketball play Tuesday. Kai Fehrenbach led the Bears in defeat with 10 points.
OREM, Utah-Jaxen McCuistion recorded 20 points and the Timpanogos Timberwolves bested Mountain View 80-70 Tuesday in Region 8 boys basketball play in this Orem crosstown rivalry. Micah Fairbanks led the Bruins in the loss with a game-high 24 points.
