SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Avery Thompson posted 16 points and the Westlake Thunder got past Cedar Valley 53-49 in Region 2 girls basketball play Thursday. Savannah Klodt led the Aviators with 12 points in the loss.
Region 8
OREM, Utah-Sienna Bramble netted 23 points and the Mountain View Bruins clobbered Summit Academy 87-16 Thursday in Region 8 girls basketball play. Lula Allred led the Bears with 6 points in defeat.
