EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Luke West posted 19 points and the Bingham Miners downed Cedar Valley 66-49 in Region 2 boys basketball play Tuesday. Onyx Griffin led the Aviators in the loss with 18 points.
HERRIMAN, Utah-Isaac Langston netted 20 points and the Mountain Ridge Sentinels waxed Westlake 72-63 Tuesday in Region 2 boys basketball play. Walker Jensen led the Thunder with 16 points in defeat.
Region 3
DRAPER, Utah-Ryder Gentry led the way with 21 points and the Skyridge Falcons waxed Corner Canyon 69-60 Tuesday in Region 3 boys basketball play. Dillon Roberts posted 22 points in the loss for the Chargers.
HIGHLAND, Utah-Saxon Young recorded 28 points and the Lone Peak Knights edged Lehi 62-61 in Region 3 boys basketball play Tuesday. Ashton Shewell led the Pioneers with 26 points in defeat.
Region 7
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Mason Hansen posted 24 points and the Springville Red Devils waxed Payson 69-48 Tuesday in Region 7 boys basketball play. Scott Bylund led the Lions in the loss with 12 points.
OREM, Utah-Simeon Suguturaga recorded 20 points and the Orem Tigers pummeled Maple Mountain 62-43 in Region 7 boys basketball play Tuesday. Nash Jackson led the Golden Eagles with 12 points in defeat.
HEBER CITY, Utah-William Openshaw and Mason Ford scored 21 points apiece and the Timpview Thunderbirds pounded Wasatch 74-42 Tuesday at The Nest in Region 7 boys basketball play. JJ Serre scored 18 points in the loss for the Wasps.
SALEM, Utah-Tanner Huff netted 18 points and the Salem Hills Skyhawks smacked Spanish Fork 76-55 in Region 7 boys basketball play Tuesday. Evan Stewart led the Dons in the loss with 15 points.
4A First Round
OREM, Utah-Jaxen McCuistion netted 23 points and the No. 10 Timpanogos Timberwolves pounded No. 23 Salem Hills 84-40 Tuesday in the first round of the 4A state tournament. Preston Kelly led the Bears in the loss with 9 points. The Timberwolves next visit No. 7 Juan Diego Friday at 7:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
MURRAY, Utah-Isaiah Beh posted 18 points and the No. 14 Murray Spartans got past No. 19 Uintah 52-46 in the first round of the 4A state tournament Tuesday. Treyson McKeachnie led the Utes in the loss with 13 points. Murray next visits No. 3 Crimson Cliffs Friday at 7:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Isaiah Thompson led the way with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the No. 9 Snow Canyon Warriors got past No. 24 Cedar City 69-64 Tuesday in the first round of the 4A state tournament. Ty Rowley’s 26 points led the Reds in the loss. The Warriors next visit No. 8 Sky View Friday at 7:00 pm in the second round of the 4A state tournament.
OREM, Utah-Joshua Hair netted 14 points and the No. 13 Mountain View Bruins hammered No. 20 Stansbury 75-55 in the first round of the 4A state tournament Tuesday. Porter Hinton led the Stallions in the loss with 19 points. Mountain View next visits No. 4 Cottonwood Friday at 7:00 pm in the second round of the state tournament.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Aymen Ismail led the way with 24 points and the No. 17 Judge Bulldogs dismantled No. 16 Desert Hills 67-48 Tuesday in the first round of the 4A state tournament. Chaustin Brazzle and Tyson Arthur scored 10 points apiece in the loss for the Thunder.
NORTH LOGAN, Utah-Gavin Erickson led the way with 28 points and the No. 15 Green Canyon Wolves hammered No. 18 Mountain Crest 78-63 in the first round of the 4A state tournament Tuesday. Jackson Branz led the Mustangs in the loss with 22 points. The Wolves next visit No. 2 Pine View Friday at 7:00 pm in the second round of the state tournament.
SALT LAKE CITY-Oscar Keegan posted 23 points and the No. 11 East Leopards smoked No. 22 Jordan 73-52 Tuesday in the first round of the 4A state tournament. Holden Warnick’s 19 points led the Beetdiggers in the loss. The Leopards next visit No. 6 Hurricane in the second round of the state tournament Friday at 7:00 pm.
MILLVILLE, Utah-Stockton Hansen led the way with 16 points and the No. 12 Ridgeline Riverhawks overpowered No. 21 Bear River 78-62 in the first round of the 4A state tournament Tuesday. Kaser Thurgood led the Bears in the loss with 25 points. Ridgeline next visits No. 5 Dixie Friday at 7:00 pm in the second round of the state tournament.
2A State Playoffs First Round
FILLMORE, Utah-Derk Memmott netted 17 points and 10 rebounds on 7/14 from the floor and exceeded the 1,000-point threshold for his Millard High School career as the No. 12 Eagles got past No. 21 Maeser Prep 75-69 Tuesday in the first round of the 2A state playoffs. Graham Harmor led the Lions in the loss with 23 points on 7/13 from behind the arc. Millard returns to action Friday at 7:00 pm at No. 5 Rowland Hall in the second round of the 2A boys basketball state playoffs. The winner of that will advance to the 2A state tournament at Utah Valley University.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Eric Phelps posted 13 points and the Enterprise Wolves smoked Rockwell 61-47 in the first round of the 2A state playoffs Tuesday. Jacob Christiansen led the Marshals in defeat with 22 points. Enterprise next visits No. 4 South Sevier in the second round of the 2A boys state basketball playoffs Friday at 7:00 pm.
BEAVER, Utah-Schevion Ormsby posted 21 points and 10 rebounds and the No. 14 Beaver Beavers downed No. 19 Merit 53-38 in the first round of the 2A state playoffs Tuesday. Carter Taeoalii and Smith Sorensen netted 15 points apiece in the loss for the Knights. Beaver next visits No. 3 ALA Friday at 7:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
SANDY, Utah-Camden Judd led the way with 22 points and the No. 16 Waterford Ravens bested No. 17 Utah Military Camp Williams 62-56 in the first round of the 2A state playoffs Tuesday. Helaman Jimenez led the Marauders in the loss with 16 points. The Ravens next visit No. 1 Kanab in the second round of the state playoffs Friday at 7:00 pm.

Region 3
HIGHLAND, Utah-Peyton Warner posted 15 points and the Lone Peak Knights bested Lehi 45-35 Tuesday in Region 3 girls basketball play. Brynlee Cook led the Pioneers in defeat with 10 points.
DRAPER, Utah-Hallee Sheffield led the way with 13 points and Skyridge bested Corner Canyon 54-45 in Region 3 girls basketball play Tuesday. Keala Lund led the Chargers in the loss with 14 points.
Region 7
