PROVO, Utah-Teegan Adams netted three RBI and the Westlake Thunder stormed past Timpview 10-4 Wednesday in non-region baseball play. Korby Sorensen netted six strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Thunder. Will Cannon drove in two runs in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

RIVERTON, Utah-McKade Ortiz drove in a pair of runs and the Riverton Silverwolves overpowered Pleasant Grove 6-2 in non-region baseball play Wednesday. Nolan Pezely’s two strikeouts in two innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Silverwolves. Conner Ybarra and Keaton Nordick drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Vikings.

OREM, Utah-Cooper Goff drove in three runs and the Mountain Ridge Sentinels pummeled Orem 16-2 Wednesday in non-region baseball play. Colby Claassen netted four strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Sentinels. Tyler Richards and Mac Christiansen drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Tigers.

Region 7

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah-Swazie Wilson and Leila Stevenson each homered and the Salem Hills Skyhawks bested Pleasant Grove 10-6 Wednesday in Region 7 softball play. Jocile Norman’s seven strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Skyhawks. Lylah Gracia and Sunny Soelberg drove in two runs apiece in defeat for the Vikings.

HEBER CITY, Utah-Peyton Sunland drove in three runs and the Wasatch Wasps got past Springville 10-9 in Region 7 softball play Wednesday. Khloe Bell netted five strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Wasatch. Mary Finlayson homered in the loss for the Red Devils.

Non-Region

PROVO, Utah-Lexi Riley drove in three runs and the Timpview Thunderbirds routed Park City 17-2 in non-region softball play Wednesday. Riley’s four strikeouts in three innings earned the win in the circle for Timpview. Brooklyn Berry and Jane Hadfield drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Miners.

SANDY, Utah-Sara Jensen homered and the American Fork Cavemen drilled Alta 7-3 Wednesday in non-region softball play. Mazie Walters netted three strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Cavemen. Taylor Johnson and Bailey Thompson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Hawks.

OREM, Utah-Lia Higginson, Kambria Orton and Paizley Boman drove in two runs apiece and the Spanish Fork Dons doubled up Orem 8-4 in non-region softball play Wednesday. Boman’s 14 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Dons. Cheyanne Wells drove in two runs in the loss for the Tigers.

PROVO, Utah-McKinzee Shepherd, Sienna Soper and Railey Johnson drove in two runs apiece and the Juab Wasps bested Provo 11-6 Wednesday in non-region softball play. Soper’s eight strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Wasps. Tava’esina Albert homered in the loss for the Bulldogs.

PROVO, Utah-Kensington Hyde scored four goals and the Timpview Thunderbirds blanked Mountain View 16-0 Wednesday in non-region girls lacrosse play.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Zackery Wall and Edwin Dorantes each scored and the Copper Hills Grizzlies doubled up Cedar Valley 2-1 in Region 2 boys soccer play Wednesday.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Jaden Willoughby, Andrew Morgan, Arthur Melazzo and Daniel Madrona each scored and the Westlake Thunder blanked Herriman 4-0 Wednesday in Region 2 boys soccer play. Jacob Domingues earned the shutout in the net in victory for Westlake.

LEHI, Utah-Ashton Shewell recorded 18 kills and the Lehi Pioneers blanked Brighton 3-0 in non-region boys volleyball play Wednesday. The Pioneers overpowered the Bengals 25-11, 25-17, 25-22 to prevail in straight sets.

WEST JORDAN, Utah-Alexander Wright’s 9 kills led the way and the Timpanogos Timberwolves swept West Jordan 3-0 Wednesday in non-region boys volleyball play. The Timberwolves overpowered the Jaguars 25-22, 25-15, 25-17 to earn the straight sets victory.
