Nathan Whitehead recorded a strikeout in 4.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Falcons. Caeden Herrera, Josiah Guerra and James Silva drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Colts.

PROVO, Utah-Drevin Christensen, Yendri Vinicio and Gehrig Orchard drove in a run apiece and the Provo Bulldogs edged Mountain Crest 4-3 in non-region baseball play Thursday. Orchard posted two strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bulldogs. Jackson Pearce and Ben Welch drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Mustangs.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Hayden Hyatt and Mick Winward homered and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles soared past Alta 17-5 Thursday in non-region baseball play. Kaden Goodsell drove in three runs in the loss for the Hawks.
SALEM, Utah-Cooper Hawkes netted four RBI and the Timpanogos Timberwolves waxed Salem Hills 9-5 in non-region baseball play Thursday. Colton McGhie drove in two runs in the loss for the Skyhawks.

LAS VEGAS-Allyx Navares netted 5 RBI and the Lehi Pioneers doubled up Carson (Calif.) 10-5 at the Bishop Gorman Tournament Thursday. Letu’u Simi drove in two runs in the loss for the Colts.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Audrey Sherman and Addison Conder homered and the Westlake Thunder stymied Mountain Ridge 10-6 Thursday in Region 2 softball play. Lynlee Sperry’s five strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Thunder. Sahar Fard drove in two runs in the loss for the Sentinels.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Ashlyn Carver drove in three runs and the Herriman Mustangs overpowered Cedar Valley 7-3 in Region 2 softball play Thursday. Ashlyn Beratto’s 10 strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Mustangs. Eva Okusi drove in two runs in the loss for the Aviators.

Paizley Boman netted seven strikouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dons in this crosstown rivalry. Brinley Cherrington and Gracie Jensen drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Golden Eagles.
