HIGHLAND, Utah-Kingston Stroshine homered twice and the Lone Peak Knights hammered Layton 13-2 in non-region baseball play Monday. Grady Slesk netted 11 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Knights. Zane Morgan drove in a run in the loss for the Lancers.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Hazen Elton recorded an RBI and the Lehi Pioneers blanked Maple Mountain 3-0 Monday in non-region baseball play.

LEHI, Utah-Isabella Plewe homered and the Skyridge Falcons smoked Orem 13-3 Monday in non-region softball play. Cheyanne Wells, Avery Louise Allen and Avery Jones drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Tigers.
KAMAS, Utah-Sara Duke and Kelbee Pearce homered and the South Summit Wildcats got past Mountain View 12-9 in non-region softball play Monday. Jayvien Clegg’s five strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Wildcats. Lucy Clark, Saralynn Hair and Allison Young drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Bruins.
