RIVERTON, Utah-Jager Mozingo, Brayden Gillespie and Nolan Pezely drove in a run apiece and the Riverton Silverwolves got past Westlake 4-3 Friday in Region 2 baseball play. Shayden Christensen netted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Silverwolves. Dawson Ferguson, Mason Vroman and Nixon Osborn drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Thunder.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Landon Johnson homered and the Cedar Valley Aviators edged Bingham 7-6 Friday in Region 2 baseball play. Cain Stoker and Noah Devroom homered in the loss for the Miners.
Softball
Region 15
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Saige Jensen homered and the North Sevier Wolves smoked American Leadership 10-0 in Region 15 softball play Friday. Tesslee Quarnberg recorded seven strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wolves.
