Steffey’s two strikeouts in four innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Grizzlies. Teegan Adams drove in two runs in the loss for the Thunder.

LEHI, Utah-Grayson Bauer drove in two runs and the Skyridge Falcons edged Corner Canyon 3-2 Friday in Region 3 baseball play. Ripken Roberts netted eight strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Skyridge. Corbin MacKay and Bowen Bodily drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Chargers.
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-Jens Price, Kenny Johnson and Gavin Robinson drove in a run apiece and the American Fork Cavemen edged Lone Peak 4-3 in Region 3 baseball play Friday. Cruz Adams netted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cavemen. Bronx Chavira drove in three runs in the loss for the Knights.
Region 7
SALEM, Utah-Davey Staffieri homered and the Pleasant Grove Vikings blanked Salem Hills 10-0 in Region 7 baseball play Friday. Keaton Nordick netted eight strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Vikings.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Mitch Walker, Lincoln Beenfield, Nash Ferguson, Kye Ward and Caden Giles drove in a run apiece and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles edged Spanish Fork 6-5 Friday in Region 7 baseball play. Giles pitched two innings to earn the win on the mound for Maple Mountain. Nixon Warren homered in the loss for the Dons.
PROVO, Utah-Kyler Ewell, Ty Marvin, Trevin Madsen and Ruger Braithwaite drove in a run apiece and the Payson Lions bested Timpview 9-7 in Region 7 baseball play Friday. Will Cannon homered twice in defeat for the Thunderbirds.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Otis Sweat homered and the Wasatch Wasps bested Springville 13-7 Friday in Region 7 baseball play. Brevon Becker netted two strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps. Bridger Frischknecht and Preston Hansen drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Red Devils.

OREM, Utah-Logan Olsen drove in two runs and the Mountain View Bruins smacked Summit Academy 12-2 Friday in Region 8 baseball play. Caden Imes netted three strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bruins. Matheson Woodruff drove in a run in defeat for the Bears.
PROVO, Utah-Corbin Hardy drove in three runs and the Timpanogos Timberwolves got past Provo 9-7 in Region 8 baseball play Friday. Tre Asisi homered in the loss for the Bulldogs.
2A North
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Ethan Barney, Daxen Stream, Houston Wilson and Justus Brost drove in two runs apiece and the American Leadership Eagles overpowered South Summit 16-9 in 2A North baseball play Friday. Ian Heaps netted five strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Eagles. Owen Mair, Kaede Jacketta and Riggin Crittenden drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Wildcats.

PAYSON, Utah-Miley Miller netted six goals and the Payson Lions surged past Maple Mountain 13-5 Friday in Region 7 girls lacrosse play.

PROVO, Utah-Tava’esina Albert drove in three runs and the Provo Bulldogs smoked American Leadership 14-4 in non-region softball play Friday. Ella Knudsen netted four strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bulldogs.
WOODS CROSS, Utah-Bree Benson drove in five runs and the Woods Cross Wildcats edged Mountain View 10-9 Friday in non-region softball play. Benson posted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wildcats. Saralynn Hair homered in the loss for the Bruins.
SALEM, Utah-Aliyah Elmer and Jocile Norman homered and the Salem Hills Skyhawks routed Fremont 12-2 in non-region softball play Friday. Norman netted four strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Skyhawks. Abigail Valdez homered in the loss for the Silverwolves. Salem Hills improved to 19-0 on the season in victory.
