RIVERTON, Utah-Emmri Chuchran homered twice and the Westlake Thunder stormed past West Jordan 11-4 Saturday at the Salt Lake Valley Tournament. Lexy Taylor drove in two runs in the loss for the Jaguars.
RIVERTON, Utah-Miah Walters homered and the American Fork Cavemen blanked Layton 9-0 at the Salt Lake Valley Tournament Saturday. Mazie Walters netted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Cavemen.
RIVERTON, Utah-Cora Miller and Samantha Theurer each homered and the Bear River Bears overpowered Westlake 8-5 Saturday at the Salt Lake Valley Tournament. Brielle Gardiner netted eight strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bears. Lynlee Sperry, Devi Tui’ivai and Erica Morgan drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Thunder.
RIVERTON, Utah-Addison Conder, Rylee Fullmer and Brilynn Attebery drove in two runs apiece and the Westlake Thunder played the Logan Grizzlies to a 7-7 tie at the Salt Lake Valley Tournament Saturday. Kiki Laing drove in three runs in defeat for Logan.
