DRAPER, Utah-Gavin Robinson drove in four runs and the American Fork Cavemen smacked Corner Canyon 13-3 in Region 3 baseball play Friday. Cruz Adams netted two strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cavemen. Garrett Downing and Zach Sorenson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Chargers.
HIGHLAND, Utah-Hazen Elton and Cole Ybarra homered and the Lehi Pioneers edged Lone Peak 6-5 Friday in Region 3 baseball play. Bronx Chavira homered in the loss for the Knights.
Region 7
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Eli Leyva and Carter Smith drove in two runs apiece and the Salem Hills Skyhawks soared past Springville 8-1 in Region 7 baseball play Friday. Trig Richards netted nine strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Salem Hills. Rhett Bailey drove in a run in the loss for the Red Devils.
PROVO, Utah-Ryder Huntsman, Crew Anderson, Drew Jensen and Karter Casperson homered and the Pleasant Grove Vikings pounded Timpview 24-0 Friday in Region 7 baseball play.
HEBER CITY, Utah-Mitch Walker, Mick Winward and Cayden Giles each homered and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles pounded Wasatch 16-2 in Region 7 baseball play Friday. Cache Petersen netted three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Royal Matthews homered in the loss for the Wasps.

Mountain View High School
OREM, Utah-Deacon Telford, Andrew Johnson and Diego Falcon each drove in a run and the No. 16 Mountain View Bruins bested No. 17 Hurricane 3-1 Friday in the first game of the 4A Regionals. Noa Ioane posted five strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bruins. Jack Stewart drove in a run in the loss for the Tigers.
Green Canyon High School
NORTH LOGAN, Utah-Tate Higham homered and the No. 12 Green Canyon Wolves routed No. 21 Sky View 13-3 in the first game of the 4A Regionals Friday. Gehrig Hansen netted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wolves. Tucker Stokes drove in two runs in the loss for the Bobcats.
Cedar City High School
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Payton Ludlow homered three times and the No. 13 Cedar Reds smoked No. 20 Park City 15-3 Friday in the first game of the 4A Regionals. Collin Corry posted four strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Cedar. Joey Breza drove in two runs in the loss for the Miners.

OREM, Utah-Luke Jones homered and the No. 10 Orem Tigers pounded No. 23 Highland 18-3 in the first game of the 4A Regionals Friday. Chase Ford netted 10 strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Tigers. Alex Just and Matt Fotheringham drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Rams.

DRAPER, Utah-Aiden Lucero and Kael Buck drove in a run apiece and the No. 14 Juan Diego Soaring Eagle doubled up No. 19 Deseret Peak 2-1 Friday in the first game of the 4A Regionals. Nash Crowther netted seven strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Juan Diego.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Weston Gilmore belted a grand slam and the No. 9 Dixie Flyers surged past No. 24 Murray 11-5 in the first game of the 4A Regionals Friday. Braxtin Hoopiiaina drove in two runs in the loss for the Spartans.
Pine View High School
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Raiden Hunt homered and Parker Heath’s game-winning RBI in the bottom of the 7th lifted the No. 11 Pine View Panthers to a 6-5 win over No. 22 East 6-5 Friday in the first game of the 4A Regionals. Zach Medrano, Josh Treend and Beckham Christensen each drove in a run in the loss for the Leopards.
Uintah High School
VERNAL, Utah-Mack Simmons and Tyler Hadlock each drove in two runs and the Stansbury Stallions edged Uintah 6-5 in the first game of the 4A Regionals Friday. Corbin Wayman earned the win on the mound for the Stallions by pitching two innings. Cooper Goodrich drove in two runs in the loss for the Utes.

SANDY, Utah-Dallon Molder, Isaac Salazar, Ayden Thurgood, Braylon Pettit and CJ Sumner each drove in a run and the Jordan Beetdiggers downed Skyridge 5-1 Friday in non-region baseball play. Kade Carter netted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Jordan. Brady Buttars scored in the loss for the Falcons.

Orem High School
OREM, Utah-Camber Hancock, Kiley Hoshnic and Sadie Groneman homered as the No. 9 Orem Tigers blanked No. 24 Jordan 15-0 Friday in the 4A regionals. Hoshnic posted 12 strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Tigers.

HURRICANE, Utah-Kaylee Clyde homered twice and the No. 12 Hurricane Tigers stonewalled No. 21 Pine View 16-6 in the 4A regionals Friday. Ruby Seely and Ashlyn Hirschi also homered in the win for Hurricane. Hirschi posted eight strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Tigers. Brenika Frandsen drove in three runs in the loss for the Panthers.

OREM, Utah-Shaylie Land homered and the No. 15 Timpanogos Timberwolves outlasted No. 18 Mountain View 5-4 in the 4A regionals in this crosstown rivalry. Lang posted eight strikeouts in eight innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Timberwolves. Ashlyn Johnson drove in two runs in the loss for the Bruins.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Brady Weber, Logan Portrey, Isaac Morris, Will Harris, Henry Harris and Lincoln Francis each scored and the Bingham Miners blanked Cedar Valley 6-0 Friday in Region 2 boys soccer play. London Flick and Kai Bloomfield combined on the shutout in the net in victory for the Miners.

2A State Quarterfinals
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-Alex Bay netted a hat trick and the No. 4 American Heritage Patriots steamrolled No. 5 Millard 6-1 Friday in the 2A state quarterfinals. The Patriots next face No. 1 Maeser Prep Tuesday at 9:00 am in the state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium.
LINDON, Utah-Denzel Sono-Koree scored twice and the No. 1 Maeser Prep Lions pummeled No. 8 Gunnison Valley 7-1 in the 2A state quarterfinals Friday.
