4A Championship Bracket @ Kearns High School

KEARNS, Utah-Asher Williams, Cohen Fuller and Briggs Fillmore homered and the No. 2 Desert Hills Thunder outlasted No. 1 Snow Canyon 12-11 in the 4A championship bracket at Kearns High School Friday. Roah Wall netted three strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Thunder. Kade Kelsch homered in defeat for the Warriors. The squads meet again Saturday at 1:30 pm at Kearns High School. If the Thunder wins this game, they are 4A state champions. If Snow Canyon wins, this forces a de facto state championship game Saturday at 7:00 pm at Kearns High School.

6A Super Regionals

Bracket 1

RIVERTON, Utah-Jaydan Bushman and Maggie Hamblin homered and the No. 1 Riverton Silverwolves completed a 6A Super Regionals sweep of No. 16 Layton with a 22-0 rout of the Lancers Friday. Lindsey Strieby posted a strikeout in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Silverwolves. Riverton next completes in bracket play Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the Valley Complex of Taylorsville against No. 8 Bingham.

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Peyton Poleki homered three times and the No. 8 Bingham Miners outgunned No. 9 Cedar Valley 18-17 Friday, sweeping this 6A Super Regionals series against the Aviators. Tatum Ewing and Lily Gritton also homered in the win for the Miners. Gritton netted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Miners. Mariah Hights homered in the loss for the Aviators.

WEST JORDAN, Utah-Paislee Buhler drove in three runs and the No. 4 Copper Hills Grizzlies blanked No. 13 American Fork 10-0 Friday to complete a 6A Super Regionals sweep of the Cavemen Friday. Bryton Dawes pitched five innings to earn the win in the circle for the Grizzlies. Copper Hills next advances to bracket play Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the Valley Complex of Taylorsville against No. 5 Davis

KAYSVILLE, Utah-Cambell Christensen homered twice and Ella Nielson also went yard as the No. 5 Davis Darts swept No. 12 Farmington in this 6A Super Regionals seris with an 18-5 win over the Phoenix Friday. Christensen posted seven strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Darts. Lill Topham and Taylor Adams drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Phoenix.

Bracket 2

HERRIMAN, Utah-Sierra Prescott homered and the No. 2 Herriman Mustangs completed a 6A softball Super Regionals sweep of No. 15 Weber with a 13-3 win over the Warriors Friday. Sofia Lancaster netted two strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Mustangs. Emery Hayes, Zoey Solerno and Kaitlyn Tolman drove in a run apiece in the loss for Weber. Herriman next advances to bracket play Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the Valley Softball Complex of Taylorsville against No. 7 Westlake.

LEHI, Utah-Brinlee Skidmore homered twice and Mya Maughan also went yard as the No. 3 Lehi Pioneers routed No. 14 Lone Peak 11-2 Friday to sweep this 6A Super Regionals series against the Knights. Claire Crutchfield netted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Knights. Lehi next faces No. 6 Mountain Ridge Tuesday at 3:00 pm in bracket play at the Valley Softball Complex of Taylorsville.

HERRIMAN, Utah-Kelli Christiansen drove in two runs and the No. 6 Mountain Ridge Sentinels bested No. 11 Syracuse 5-3 to sweep this 6A Super Regionals series against the Titans Friday. Sydney Lambert netted five strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Sentinels. Sophia Knight homered in defeat for the Titans.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Claire DuBois and Brilynn Attebery homered and the No. 7 Westlake Thunder stormed past No. 10 Skyridge 17-11 Friday to win this 6A Super Regionals series against the Falcons. Callier Baker drove in three runs in defeat for Skyridge.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Devi Tu’ivai homered twice and Emmri Chuchran and Audrey Sherman also homered as the No. 7 Westlake Thunder forced a third game against No. 10 Skyridge with a 20-10 win over the Falcons Friday in this 6A Super Regionals series. Maylee Walston and Eden Rome homered in the loss for the Falcons.

5A Super Regionals

Bracket 1

SALEM, Utah-Audree Stokes, Aaliyah Elmer, Leila Stevenson and Adalyn Mattinson homered and the No. 1 Salem Hills Skyhawks bested No. 16 Wasatch 19-8 Friday to sweep this 5A Super Regionals series against the Wasps. Sydnee McPhie and Khloe Bell homered in the loss for the Wasps. Salem Hills next plays N0. 8 Springville Tuesday at 10:30 am in bracket play at the Valley Complex. 

CLEARFIELD, Utah-Skylar Davis drove in a run and the No. 5 Clearfield Falcons completed a 5A Super Regionals sweep of No. 12 Bountiful with a 5-3 win over the Redhawks Friday. Teaghan McNabb netted two strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Falcons. Ainslee Jensen drove in a run in the loss for the Falcons. Clearfield next competes in bracket play Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Valley Complex of Taylorsville against No. 4 West Field.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Allyx Haveron and Mary Finlayson homered and the No. 8 Springville Red Devils blanked No. 9 Hillcrest 10-0 Friday as the Red Devils swept this 5A Super Regionals series against the Huskies. Haveron netted four strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Red Devils.

OGDEN, Utah-Rylee Andreasen drove in four runs and the No. 4 West Field Longhorns overpowered No. 13 Payson 15-5 to sweep this 5A Super Regionals series against the Lions Friday. Alena Lynch pitched one inning to earn the win in the circle for the Longhorns. Ellie Prior drove in three runs in the loss for the Lions. 

Bracket 2

BOUNTIFUL, Utah-Alexa Olsen, Izabella Mailo and Leila Aiono homered and the No. 11 Hunter Wolverines completed a 5A Super Regionals upset sweep of No. 6 Viewmont with a 16-6 win over the Vikings Friday. Raegyn Dahlke homered in the loss for the Vikings. Hunter next advances to bracket play Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Valley Complex of Taylorsville against No. 3 Spanish Fork.

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah-Maclee Willard and Kennedi Blackmer each homered and the No. 2 Box Elder Bees routed No. 15 Cyprus 15-0 to complete a 5A Super Regionals sweep of the Pirates Friday. Blackmer posted five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bees. Box Elder next competes in bracket play Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Valley Complex of Taylorsville against Maple Mountain.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-McClain Carter homered and the No. 7 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles waxed No. 10 Taylorsville 8-3 Friday to complete a 5A Super Regionals sweep of the Warriors. Lola Egolf drove in two runs in the loss for the Warriors. 

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Baylee Smith, Sydney Worthen and Lia Higginson homered and the No. 3 Spanish Fork Dons routed No. 14 Fremont 16-1 Friday to complete this 5A Super Regionals sweep of the Silverwolves. Paizley Boman netted four strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dons. Ashlynn Cottle drove in a run in the loss for the Silverwolves. 

4A Championship Bracket @ Miller Park (BYU)

PROVO, Utah-Riley Greene homered and the No. 1 Desert Hills Thunder stormed past No. 2 Bear River 3-1 in the 4A championship softball bracket at Gail Miller Field on the campus of Brigham Young University. Lulu West netted 14 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Thunder. The squads meet again for the second game in the series Saturday at 4:30 pm. If the Thunder wins that game, they are the 4A state champions. If the Bears win, a de facto state championship game will occur at 7:00 pm at Gail Miller Field.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Trey Bess and Nathan Pineda each scored two goals and the No. 6 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles downed No. 14 Salem Hills 5-3 in the 5A state boys soccer quarterfinals Friday.
